Why you should give blood too

Hi everyone and welcome back to my blog.

In tonight’s post I share with you why I choose to give blood and take you with me in my latest vlog as I visit my local blood donation centre.

When I was growing up my Dad always used to donate blood and when I went to university there was an NHS Give Blood stand at the Fresher’s Fayre.

I signed up, watched the dvd and went along to my first blood donation.

Since then I’ve donated many times despite having to stop when my iron was low or when I had my baby daughter.

I’ve always donated blood because I would want this precious resource to be there were someone I love to need it.

I have wanted to film a vlog showing the blood donation process for a while as I feel it’s important to show how simple it is and break down some of the barriers that stop people from donating.

It isn’t that painful, it doesn’t take long and it can save lives!

If you have never given blood, would like to and are able to then this vlog is for you!

I’d love you to watch it and let me know if you are already a donor or hope to be soon.

As always, thank you for supporting my blog. I’d love to hear from you – you can leave a comment below, subscribe to the blog or find me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.

Love, Thrifty Mumma X
