UK staycation: Dartmouth

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog.

The UK coastline is so beautiful, it’s easy to see why so many of us choose to holiday at home.

In today’s post I share our recent staycation in Dartmouth, South Devon.

Since we were children we have stayed at the lovely Stoke Lodge Hotel in Stoke Fleming just outside of Dartmouth.

Family friendly with excellent facilities and an on site restaurant this hotel has become a haven for us and we’ve loved every holiday we have had there.

In my latest vlog I share my footage of our recent visit so for a tour of the hotel and Dartmouth town click here: UK Staycation: Dartmouth

Bubba loved her first visit to Dartmouth. She enjoyed splashing in the swimming pool and eating four course meals every evening – the home cooked food is absolutely delicious!

Near to the beach with Blackpool Sands just down the road and with short journey times to Woodlands and Paignton Zoo, Stoke Lodge Hotel is perfectly located for a family staycation.

Dartmouth itself is very pretty with beautiful riverside views and plenty of gorgeous galleries to browse – both free activities!

The prices are very reasonable too so we found the trip to be of good value.

Thank you Stoke Lodge Hotel for another lovely stay – we can’t wait to be back!

Where is your favourite place to staycation in the UK? I’d love to be inspired by your family favourites so do comment below.

As always, thank you for reading.
